What is Profhilo?

How quickly will I see results from Profhilo?

How long does Profhilo last?

After the first two initial treatments of Profhilo, patients can enjoy the effects of Profhilo treatment for 6-9 months. After this, patients may wish to undergo additional ‘top-up’ sessions to maintain the results.

 

Why do you need 2 sessions of Profhilo?

Profhilo smooths and moisturises the skin from the firse session, but the results are more noticeable after the second treatment because Profhilo takes time to act. Having 2-3 sessions enables the Profhilo to trigger a compounded effect and increased effectiveness.

What is the difference between Profhilo and fillers?

After Profhilo

 

We recommend not touching your face for at least 6 hours post treatment, you should drink plenty of water. Avoid lying down or strenuous exercise for at least 3 hours after your session. Do not have a facial or massage to the treated areas for 24 hours after your treatment.

While Profhilo is generally considered very safe, as with all treatments, there are some potential side effects that you should be aware of. These include: redness and swelling and discomfort around the injection sites following the procedure. Whilst every effort to ensure a sterile environment, infection may occur, especially if you touch or rub the areas treated.
